APHA will offer an invitational class for the Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association 2020 Western Regional Open division high-point riders at the 2020 APHA World Championship Show, which takes place September 21–October 4 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. Schedule details will be announced by APHA when they are confirmed.

The American Quarter Horse Youth Association is excited to be able to host the 2020 Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar June 29 – July 1 in a virtual format. Known for his creative and innovative Trail course designs, videos, clinics and guided practices at horse shows around the world, Tim has coached exhibitors of all ages and breeds to compete successfully in the discipline. Most recently, Tim has added the title of co-host alongside trainer Brad Jewett of “Keeping It Real,” a Zoom-based online program where he and Brad interview leaders in the horse industry.

“Since 1940, AQHA has been paving the way for passionate horsemen and -women to come together in the name of the American Quarter Horse for the breed’s preservation, celebration and advancement,” said Craig Huffhines, AQHA executive vice president. “Today, we are fortunate to celebrate our breed with this historical milestone.”

“We are excited to have the opportunity to welcome all AQHYA exhibitors to compete at this year’s show since the AQHA Executive Committee waived the qualifying requirements due to the coronavirus pandemic,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “This year’s show will feature youth riders and their American Quarter Horses representing all levels competing in Level 3, Adequan® Level 2 and Nutrena Level 1 classes.”
