ince I did not attend our 2013 AQHA Convention this year, I really shouldn’t comment on what I didn’t hear or see for myself, but I feel I need to give our Executive Vice President, Don Treadway, an “atta boy” congratulations for making the welfare of our horses one of the highlights of the Convention. Evidently there was much discussion regarding this subject.

Please don’t expect me to agree with all of the changes we have been hearing about from Amarillo. However, I do respect that AQHA’s staff and Executive Committee are attempting to turn our monetary decreases into increases. It does appear they might all need to listen to some different ideas that could encourage more enthusiasm and growth for our entire industry.
