Your horse can lose up to four gallons of perspiration an hour when exercised in hot, humid conditions. Sweat is predominantly made of sodium, chloride, and potassium, with lesser levels of magnesium and calcium, all responsible for keeping your horse’s heart beating, the gastrointestinal tract moving, kidneys working, as well as maintaining almost every biochemical reaction. Without them, the horse can become weak and may collapse.

For a Halter horse to have such a long lifespan, to me, is extraordinary. He was in great health until the very end and was never sick when he lived at our ranch. He was a sweetheart.”

Top-seeded Auburn knocked off TCU (12-4) in the quarterfinals and Oklahoma State (11-5) in the semifinals. While the overall outcome was easily decided, the Tigers did get an early wakeup call, dropping Horsemanship, 3-1, against TCU to start the day. Auburn got a bye in the Horsemanship event bracket on Wednesday.

If the lease is terminated for any reason other than the death of the lessee before the minimum one year period, the following penalties/restrictions shall apply except as provided by the International Lease for World Championship Show rules: SHW240.4.1 unless the lessor pays a $1,000 early termination penalty (“Termination Penalty”), the horse can only be shown in the Open Division, Level 1 classes and/or Rookie classes until one year has passed since the original start date of the lease;
