Later on today, Rodger and Marcus will be competing together in Select Working Hunter, Select Equitation Over Fences, and Select Hunter Hack, and Rodger let us in on a little secret… “I’m what they call a Super Select, because I’m 74, and I’m the only one here showing in that category.”

Over 70 donors have provided incredible items that range from a trip for four to the NFR and a signed University of Florida football helmet to seven nights at the Grand Mayan Los Cabos and Night Stall Watch service at the AQHA World for ten horses.

The last time we interviewed Nya Kearns at the AQHA Youth World Show was back in 2010, when, at the age of ten, she was the youngest rider to make it back to the Equitation finals. She’s been turning out consistent performances ever since, but this is her first World Championship title.

Today was the first day of high school for Taylor, but we’re certain her teacher will accept a golden globe in lieu of a permission slip for her absence.
