The 2016 AQHA Adequan Select World Championship Show is now underway in Amarillo, TX. and there are several big winners to congratulate. Vickie Strickland led Mystesly to a unanimous win in the Performance Halter Geldings class of 25 qualifiers. Mytesly is a sorrel gelding by My Tee Cool Mister and out of Last Pleazin Bymr. The Reserve Champion was Ellen Jost with Hez Unstoppable, a sorrel gelding by Heza Stemwinder and out of Telusives Coolest.

The main event during the show was the SOQHA $5,000 3-Year-Old and Over Novice Horse Western Pleasure Futurity for limited, intermediate, and non-pro riders only. Winning the class and receiving a check for $3,500 was Jim Chafin aboard VS Security Code for owner Joni Gainey. VS Security Code is by VS Code Red and out of Strutnontheopenrange.
