The Congress is still a long way off and much can happen from now until the first horse enters the Congress grounds. Remember, it is 20 days before reining and cutting horses can enter the grounds and 31 days before the general horse show horses enter the grounds.

Continue reading …In an effort to protect horses and other livestock in Ohio, the Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) is not allowing the import of horses from counties within states with confirmed and suspected cases of Vesicular Stomatitis (VSV). This restriction includes the All American Quarter Horse Congress, which is scheduled to begin in Columbus on October 1.
Continue reading …The second annual Pleasure Versatility Challenge, brought to you by Terry Bradshaw Quarter Horses, is scheduled to take place at the 2019 AQHA World Show on November 16th at approximately 6 pm. Like last year, the event will be open to 3-year-olds that will be shown in a Versatility pattern, to count 40%; Western Pleasure, to count 40%; and Conformation class, to count 20%.

We also hosted an Exhibitor Party each night of the futurity, which was sponsored by stallion owners. This really got people out to watch, support, and learn about the Color World Series.”

From different universities and colleges around the country, the recipients are awarded $1,000 scholarships for their educational pursuits. The scholarship funds for these students are donated to the foundation program by APHA members in honor of loved ones or by regional Paint Horse clubs/zones.
