Who Let the Dogs Out? New Classes Coming to a Horse Show Near You!

For too long now, our beloved barn dogs have been forced to stay at the stalls, sit in the stands, or forbid, walk on a leash, while horses get to have all of the fun at horse shows. But no longer! Thanks to the introduction of the Canine Inclusion Act, your barn dog will get to participate too!

Some of the new class offerings coming to a show near you might include Fido Over Fences, Puppy Pleasure, Hound Under Saddle, Tail Wagger Trail, and Caninemanship. Scoring and attire requirements have yet to be decided upon, but all breeds will be welcome. Dependent upon the size of your pooch, he or she may ride in the saddle with you or track alongside you and your horse. But good behavior is a must!
