Results of 2022 AYA Director Elections

MOSCOW, Idaho—The Appaloosa Youth Association (AYA) is pleased to announce the results of the 2022 AYA Director elections. To qualify, each candidate must be between the ages of 12-17 and reside in the territory that he/she wishes to represent. Newly elected AYA Directors will serve either a one- or two-year term, depending on eligibility.

AYA Directors represent the association to outside audiences, host local fundraisers and events promoting the AYA and plan and execute AYA activities at the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show. They also meet frequently to discuss matters concerning the AYA. Directors represent members residing in their territory and zone and work to continuously improve the Appaloosa Youth Association.

The AYA is the youth affiliate of the Appaloosa Horse Club. Officially approved in 1981, the AYA was the first youth program developed to complement an equine breed association.
