In Loving Memory of KM Vested In Bo, 2009-2025

Photo of Bo with Jessica, Evan, Gemma, and Avri by Mary Bowman.

By Jessica Wake:

It’s been a year since you went home. I’ve convinced myself our good Lord and Savior will be descending from Heaven on a red head with a lot of chrome…. Because that makes sense to me, and that is the only reason he would need you more than we do.

We miss you every day. I still feel it deep in my bones. I often dwell on the fact that our time together was cut way too short, but I try to remind myself I was one of the lucky few that really got to know you! You reminded me of what it’s like to connect with a horse on a deep level and showed my kids the beauty in it all! You filled our hearts with so much love and joy, there are not enough words to express it.

You were an absolute King in the show pen, but you were even better at home! I think what I miss the most is just simply being with you, looking into your eyes, kissing your nose, feeling your presence, pampering you, all the little things that filled up our hearts. You will forever own a piece of us. We miss you more than words.

We love you, Bo, and we are forever grateful for everything that made you, You! Xoxo

The Equine Chronicle family wishes to express our deepest condolences on the loss of Bo.

We covered the news of Bo’s purchase by the Wake Family in 2023, and wish to share that article and the special photos.  Find them here:
