The first CVCS Show #1 will take place from now until May 2nd. The judges pool is John Boxell, Jennifer Leckey, Casey Orr, Teresa Pelton, Mark Russell, Amy Watkins, and Tracy Willis. The first block of classes consists of Showmanship, Equitation, and Horsemanship through April 25th. The entry deadline is Friday, April 24th at midnight CST. The video deadline for the first block of classes is Saturday, April 25th at midnight CST. 

The average sale price of $4,703.57 per horse was up 37.6% and the gross Sales was up by 31.6%.

So, regardless of foaling date, you have until May 30th to submit and pay first option to nominate your babies at the $100 rate. After May 30th, your nomination fee will only increase by $50. We will extend the first option to nominate your yearlings and two-year-olds to April 15th at $100. After April 15th, it will only increase by $50.

“The two April INTERNET auctions allow sellers to market their horses in early April and do it from home or on the road. Entries are being accepted for the both auctions now. The SPRING REINER & COW HORSE AUCTION and the April INTERNET Auction are great marketplaces for Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas,” says Mike Jennings of the Professional Horse Services, LLC. “Each of these auctions will include show horses, prospects and breeding stock.”

Today, An Equine Production has relayed the news that the remainder of their March shows have been cancelled. That includes the Aggie Super Circuit (March 19-22 in College Station, Texas) and Maple Leaf Circuit (March 28-31 in St. Louis, MO.) They have not made any decisions regarding April shows at this time.
