Many facilities, due to governmental guidelines, are going require you to act or do things differently. Is that requiring a mask? Likely! Is that requiring you not to stand at the gate and socialize? Absolutely! But here comes the big question. How bad do you want to go to a show?

“It is exciting to see this level of activity in the horse market given the current situation due to the pandemic,” adds Jennings. “The Internet auctions allow sellers to market their horses from home. Buyers can shop from home, too. Since horse haulers can move freely around the country as an essential business, horses can get to their new owners easily.”

Please wear a mask. It is your decision to wear a mask IN the arena, but we ask that you do so while walking around and schooling.

Twelve horse sold for approximately $94,700, giving this sale the highest average sale price per horse in the program’s long history.

“Our Internet Auction format allows for actively shopping horses while practicing social distancing,” adds Jennings.  “Horse transporters are still active and can move horses to their new owners.”

We, and all of the show managers and secretaries out there, are not withholding information from you as to the status of a horse show. We are truly trying to figure it out just like you. When we know, we will tell the world. We want to have a horse show. But, we want you to be safe as well.
