If you’d like a chance to take home a piece of this pie, remember, foals must be nominated every year. The $300 nomination fee for yearlings and 2-year-olds is due by June 1st. Nominations can still be paid after this date, but the fee increases. Weanling foals may be nominated within 60 days of foaling for $200. Then, the amount increases to $300 by June 1st.

“We’re right at about 300 stalls,” says Show Manager Jay Thesing. “Class sizes are staying good. We had 29 in the Novice Amateur Level 1 Showmanship, 20 in the Amateur Showmanship, and 26 in Horsemanship.”
