However, Roper had drawn number 2 in the Level 4 Non Pro Finals, meaning she had to sweat through 31 additional runs before she was declared the victor. When the last rider had cleared the arena, it became official: Indy Roper had won her first Non Pro Derby Championship; several great prizes, including a year’s use of a beautiful Kyle Zanetti Trailer, a Bob’s Custom Saddle, Anderson Bean Boots, a custom Montana Silversmiths belt buckle, product from Classic Equine, and gift certificates to Platinum Performance, Bluebonnet Feeds, SmartPak, Shorty’s Caboy Hattery, and CINCH; and a check for $18,800. Nominator Bobby Lewis will receive 5% of the total payout.
Continue reading …An Equine Production has big news to share regarding the Tri-State Quarter Horse Association shows that were cancelled this year in May due to the COVID-19 pandemic. AQHA has since approved the club’s request to move several of the May events to August- specifically August 3-5 and 7-9. Now, there will be ten total shows in six days. August 6th will be a required off day.

The show was the result of the combination of the IQHYA Show and IQHA State Show that were joined as a result of schedule changes because of cancellations due to COVID-19.

Joetta Bell would win AQHA World Championship titles in Amateur Western Pleasure, Amateur Showmanship, and Amateur Western Riding, as well as Reserve World Champion titles in Western Pleasure and Western Riding with the mare. Shane Dowdy also showed the mare to numerous successes in Senior Western Pleasure, adding an Open AQHA World Championship in 2004. In all, Sweet Talkin Jeannie would earn more than 1,400 AQHA points and $12,594.58 in NSBA earnings.
