AQHA Member Photos Featured in 2018 Calendar

The 2018 American Quarter Horse Association Calendar, filled with photos taken by AQHA members, is available now at Quarter Horse Outfitters.
Earlier in the year, AQHA hosted a photo contest, encouraging all AQHA members to submit photos of an American Quarter Horse. More than 1,000 entries were received, and AQHA and American Quarter Horse Hall Fame & Museum staff selected 150 to be displayed at the 2017 AQHA Photography Show & Sale, October 27 – November 25 at the Museum.
From the top 150 photos submitted, 64 photos were selected to fill the pages of the 2018 AQHA Calendar. This is the fifth year AQHA members have contributed photos to the annual calendar.
The top monthly photos featured are:
- Cover: Erica McCrary, Aubrey, Texas
- Opening photos: Todd Bulik, Madera, California and Mauro Zaborowsky, San Paulo, Brazil
- January – Rachel Cook, Blue Ridge, Virginia
- February – Loretta Schneider, Sanford, Florida
- March – Cheri Mertesdorf, Johnson City, Texas
- April – Kim Brittenham, Ramseur, North Carolina
- May – Elizabeth Hay, Bakersfield, California
- June – Randy Wreyford, Junction, Texas
- July – Carla Danielson, Hooper, Washington
- August – Kathleen Nicholson, Gillette, Wyoming
- September – Mark Herron, Bluff Dale, Texas
- October – Amy Behrends, Fredericksburg, Texas
- November – Georgianna Renouard, Dallas
- December – Hillary Darty, Dahlonega, Georgia
The calendar is available for sale at Quarter Horse Outfitters in time for Christmas shopping.
