Guidelines on Movement of Large Animals from Texas to KY, Effective 6/5/26

From Kentucky Horse Council:

Effective immediately: The Kentucky Department of Agriculture Office of the State Veterinarian has released guidelines on the movement of large animals from Texas into the state of Kentucky.

These guidelines were put in place after a confirmed New World Screwworm infestation in Zavala County, Texas. They are effective until August 1, 2026.
