IEA Ride for Rayas Grant
Created in Rayas’s honor, this grant is designed to expand access to IEA competition for Hunt Seat riders in New York (IEA Zone 2).

15-year-old IEA Hunt Seat rider Rayas Niccolini Greenlee is courageously fighting an aggressive pediatric brain cancer—and turning her fight into purpose through her Wish.
A deeply dedicated and gifted Hunt Seat rider from Zone 2, Rayas’s discipline, empathy, and leadership in the saddle have long reflected the very best of the sport. Through her treatment and recovery, horses—and riding—have remained a profound source of strength, motivation, and healing.
Rayas’s Wish is realized in the Ride for Rayas Grant, expanding access to riding and IEA competition for Hunt Seat riders in NY (Zone 2) and broadening who gets to train, compete, and grow in the sport.
Rayas has also asked to hear YOUR stories with horses/riding and the difference they have made and continue to make in your life.
