The SOQHA Challenge has new dates and a new location. Now located in Springfield, OH, this show is looking amazing. It’s sold out and will award roughly $10,000 in Youth Scholarship awards. There will also be awards in the traditional amateur, L1 amateur, Select & Open divisions. Trainers – if you have any extra stalls, please let Janet know at 937-416-0294. Working with Hall of Fame trainer, Denny Hassett, Sherri and Skipper entered the American Junior Quarter Horse Association World Championship show and won Western Riding class and placed 6th in Trail. They went on to win Western Riding at the Congress that year.

The Auburn Tigers hold the No. 1 spot in the first coach’s poll of the spring season.  Auburn went 2-0 on the road last week against ranked opponents. Texas A&M steps up to the No. 2 position after a win against now No. 3 SMU.  South Carolina takes the No. 4 spot this week while Baylor holds at No. 5.

2019 QH Congress Dates Stay the Same; Move Up a Week In 2020!

The decision is based in large part on increasing the window between the Congress and the AQHA World Show. In the past, these shows have been back-to-back with very few days in between to recover and prepare for the Open/Amateur AQHA World Show. In 2018, there were three days in between the shows. The new date implementation will take effect in 2020 in hopes that exhibitors and attendees will have time to plan accordingly.
