Cannabidiol—commonly known as CBD oil—is now classified as a Class 2 drug by the Association of Racing Commissioners International. As such, it is considered a forbidden substance by APHA and is prohibited for use in horses competing in APHA-approved events, per rule SC-085.C.1 in the APHA Rule Book.

Stockyards Heritage Development, a joint venture of Majestic Realty Co. and Hickman Companies, has begun the first phase of its $200 million development. Phase One plans include 175,000 square feet of shops, food and beverage, and creative office space that creates a distinctive cultural landmark reflective of other cities, such as the San Antonio River Walk.

Continue reading …International Buckskin Horse Association recently hosted its 2019 convention and annual awards banquet March 14-16 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and saw a busy agenda throughout the weekend that included new class offerings and a new division to the association’s registry. “IBHA saw one of its largest conventions in recent history,” noted Deanna O’Keefe, IBHA office manager. “We had members actively participating in discussions throughout the convention and a large crowd for our annual awards banquet. We’re looking forward to a great show season in 2019!”
