Results From Inaugural 2017 Fall Harvest Championship

With just shy of 2,700 AQHA entries, the new Fall Harvest Championship Show showed an impressive turnout for its first year. The inaugural multi-breed event took place October 5-8 in Des Moines, IA, with an innovative format that included a five judge AQHA show with a four judge ABRA show. Judges were Holly Hover, Debbie Kail, Larry Hansch, Nancy Sue Ryan, and Michael Edwards.

Winner of the Small Fry 9 and Under High Point was Addison Griepenstroh with Lopin Spotless. The Reserve Champion was Emilee Yost with Mr Mega Bucks. The Champion of the L1 Amateur Walk/Jog was Becky Grier with Just That Hot. The Reserve Champion was Meredith Williams with Touch of Susies. The L1 Youth Walk/Jog Champion was Emilee Yost with Mr Mega Bucks. The Reserve Champion was Christina Byers with Startime Juie.

The Reserve Champion was Five A Clock Charlie for owner, Kelly Manner. The Novice Amateur/L1 Champion was Barbara Wells with KM The Best Man. The Reserve Champion was Teresa Krueger with I’m Red Instead. The Amateur Champion was Morgan Brickham with Lazy Lookin Lady. The Reserve Champion was Kelly Manner with Five A Clock Charlie. The Select Champion was Dianne Schaefer with Kinetic Krymsun. The Reserve Champion was Jody Frazier with Lope N Good.

The L1/Novice Youth Champion was Erica Mehlhaus with Huntin For Faith. The Reserve Champion was Alexis Rutledge with Touching Invitation. The 13 and Under Champion was Carley Rutledge with Famous N Foolish. The Reserve Champion was Elivia Papcun with I’m Hot N Huntin. The 14-18 Champion was Emma Schaefer with Black Tye Only. The Reserve Champion was Madison Sommers with Hez Dynamic.

The ABRA Select team was Christine Ramsey with NCSU Zippin Comet. The ABRA Open team was Martha Bloomquist with Decks Potential. The ABRA 14-18 Champion was Kinsey Terrel with Champagne Moonlite. The ABRA 13 and Under Champion was Lanie Petersen with VR Zippo Redbuck.
