PtHA Wrangler Exhibitor of the Month- Craig Burkhard

The PtHA Wrangler Exhibitor of the Month for March is Craig Burkhard of Brooksville, Florida. Burkhard is an Elite Amateur exhibitor who has been showing for 47 years.

Burkhard shows his 11-year-old gelding named Modern Sensation, also know as “Bradley the Wonder Pony.” He bought this horse under the guidance of a friend who advised him to  “get a well trained horse and enjoy the shows,” which is what he’s doing now.

Burkhard’s first Pinto Show was in 2005, when the Florida Paint Horse Club and Florida Pinto Club started combining shows. Together, Burkard and Bradley compete in Hunter Under Saddle, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Trail, and Ranch Horse Pleasure classes.

“Bradley is easygoing,” Burkhard said. “He has a huge heart and is always up for a fun day of showing.”

Every month, Wrangler, one of PtHA’s Corporate Partners, will be hosting the “Exhibitor of the Month” contest!
