137 entries were narrowed down to the top 15 last night in the Hunt Seat Equitation Preliminaries at the 2015 AQHA World Championship Show. The riders that will return to the finals this afternoon will show to judges Holly Hover, Dianne Grod, Lainie DeBoer, Kim Hall, and Jennifer Leckey.

Today’s Trail Finals at the 2015 AQHYA World Championship Show concluded with an exciting run-off between two competitors who both scored an impressive 237.5. After the top 20 qualifiers completed their patterns, it was determined that Emily Maul with Only Temptation and Gina Hitchman with So So Good would participate in a run-off to determine the top two spots.

After 116 preliminaries runs and 20 finals runs, a World Champion was named this evening in Ranch Riding. Judges Chele McGauly, Jim Dudley, Bobby Harrison, John Tuckey, and Tim Finkenbinder determined the winner to be Shelby Reine aboard Keepyourgunsloaded.

15 very brave qualifiers entered the pen this afternoon for the Showmanship Finals to tackle what was dubbed by many as the “Showmanship Pattern of Insanity.” The full two-minute long pattern included everything but the kitchen sink and only one cone by which to judge marks.
