In 2015, ISC added Novice Select Amateur Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. The popularity of those classes in the first year has led to adding two more Novice Select classes for 2016 – Trail and Showmanship. The Novice Select Amateur seems to be a growing segment at Quarter Horse shows and ISC shifts as our exhibitors change.

The Rock is a 2011, 15.2 hand red roan stallion sired by RL Best Of Sudden and out of the mare Lopen Good Bar. This talented young stallion is a multiple NSBA Reserve World Champion and futurity champion in both open and non pro events in addition to being the 2013 AQHA Intermediate World Champion in 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure.
