
The March date should fit well for exhibitors who like to attend the major Florida circuits in January as well. Also, exhibitors from the northeast and southeast may find it much more suitable for attending AQHA’s major circuits.

Taking the No. 1 spot for the seventh time in nine years was the Western Regional Zone 2 Zone Show, which took place May 21–22 in South Jordan, Utah. In 2015, the Utah Paint Horse Club-sponsored show attracted 1,110 entries to the six-judge event, which was also followed by a four-judge competition that also had nearly 1,000 entries.

Zippos Sensation ruled the roost as the Breeders’ Trust Leading Sire for the 15th consecutive year; his son, Nighttime Sensation, took the lead as the 2015 Breeders’ Trust Top-Earning Horse.

Held annually as an entirely charitable event, the March To The Arch relies on the support and generosity of show sponsors, judges, show staff, and ring crew, who all donate their time in an effort to raise the most money possible for cancer research.

Beginning in 2016, new rules are in effect allowing a three-year-old snaffle bit western pleasure or hunter under saddle horse to be shown in other classes in an acceptable curb bit and remain eligible to compete in the snaffle bit/ bosal western pleasure or hunter under saddle classes.
