The Junior Trail and Senior Trail finals are scheduled to take place 4:00-8:30 pm. this evening. The Junior Western Pleasure finals is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19th from 12:30-1:30 pm, and the Junior Western Riding finals is scheduled to take place 1:45-2:45 pm.

While the Oklahoma City State Fair Park was being blanketed by a soft coating of fluffy, white snow this weekend, exhibitors in the National Quarter Horse League Huntfield Derby Open Finals turned up the heat on the competition at the 2014 AQHA World Show. The crowning event of the NQHL show schedule kicked off on November 15th at the Remington Horse Park with a Derby Draw Party that was sponsored by AQHA stallion Allocate Your Assets.

It was Julie Smith’s turn to show a horse of her very own today in Amateur 2-Year-Old Stallions, her first time competing at the World Show in nine years, and she was able to come away with a World Champion title. Smith’s partner for the class today was PF Kid Supreme, a sorrel stallion by the late MH Supremo and out of Kids Securitee.
