A highlight of the event was a chance for youth to ride an American Quarter Horse. This year, the Foundation facilitated 200 rides, which gave many youth the opportunity to ride a Quarter Horse for the first time.

McGrath comes to Carolina with over 30 years of experience within the equine industry. McGrath not only runs her own business, Jennifer McGrath Performance Horses (since 2008), but has also been heavily involved with both the Texas Quarter Horse Association and the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association.

The upcoming AQHA Youth World Show is on tap to be the largest in the event’s history, according to AQHA. There is a total of 3,660 entries that will compete at the show this year, which is a 180 entry increase over 2018.

Toothpaste, toothbrush and dental floss
Pocket-sized Facial tissue
Disposable wipes
Socks

The biennial Youth World Games invites all countries to bring teams of four exhibitors and an alternate to compete in showmanship, Western horsemanship, hunt-seat equitation and ranch riding. Exhibitors will be assigned randomly selected mounts, and must show off their horsemanship abilities in the show pen after only a brief warm-up session.

Exhibitors will receive a free digital file of their performance. Official show videographer Equine Promotion will automatically email exhibitors a link to their run so they can download and share it on social media. This is free; no signup is necessary.
