AQHA International Educational Marketplace Clinics

The American Quarter Horse Association recognizes that many countries are still impacted by travel restrictions caused by the global pandemic and understands that AQHA members are eager for educational opportunities to learn more about American Quarter Horse health, riding, training, anatomy and more. To continue to make education more accessible to international members, AQHA is excited to bring educational resources directly to AQHA members through an online learning platform. This allows AQHA enthusiasts around the globe to engage with AQHA and industry professionals from the comfort and safety of their home.

Traditionally, AQHA International-sponsored Educational Marketplace Clinics are hosted in-country by an AQHA Professional Horseman, trainer, judge, university group or other industry professional. Due to the continued uncertainty related to international travel and hosting of group activities, all educational marketplace clinics will be provided virtually in 2021. Round 1 Educational Marketplace Clinic applications will be accepted through March 31, 2021.

As clinics are scheduled, they will be listed here on the website.

In 2020, AQHA supported 20 Educational Marketplace Clinics, many of which allowed for U.S.-based clinicians to develop and publish virtual clinics through an online learning platform. Countries that experienced the benefit of this grant in 2020 included Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

“AQHA hopes that international affiliates and members continue to take advantage of this funding made available to host an educational clinic for current AQHA members in their countries,” said Sierra Kane, AQHA director of international activities. “It is a great opportunity to grow our American Quarter Horse industry around the globe.”
