From AQHA:

The American Quarter Horse Association’s VS Code Red English Versatility Series continues to gain momentum in 2026, bringing together exhibitors from across the country to compete in one of the fastest-growing opportunities in the AQHA English division.

Designed to showcase the athleticism, rideability and versatility of the American Quarter Horse, the 10-show series combines elements that prepare a horse for a future in over fences classes into a format that rewards well-rounded horse-and-rider teams.

Throughout the season, exhibitors are competing not only for show-to-show earnings, but also for prestigious year-end awards, including Butet saddles, Holly Spagnola silver jewelry, and additional prizes from supporting sponsors.

As the series moves into the heart of the summer show season, the leaderboard continues to tighten. A full list can be found at www.aqha.com/englishversatility

  2. Cool Made Machine and Hannah Lind

“The excitement around the English Versatility Series continues to grow at every stop,” said Scott Neuman, AQHA Director of Competitions. “Exhibitors are embracing the opportunity to showcase the American Quarter Horse in a format that is both challenging and rewarding.

In addition to the series itself, exhibitors can also set their sights on the VS Code Red AQHA English Versatility Challenge, at the 2026 Markel AQHA and Adequan® Select World Championship Shows. The Challenge brings the concept to one of the industry’s biggest stages, giving exhibitors another opportunity to show hunter-type American Quarter Horses in an exciting three-part class while highlighting the versatility of the American Quarter Horse in front of a national audience.
