AQHA and Along For the Ride Reception

All 2022 AQHA Convention registrants are invited to attend the AQHA and Along for the Ride™ Reception, featuring a roundtable discussion with industry experts, on February 26 at the South Point Arena and Equestrian Center in Las Vegas. The doors open at 6 p.m., and the round table is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In the style of the Along For The Ride podcast that encourages candid conversations between industry leaders, the Along For The Ride Symposium in Las Vegas will feature the rare opportunity to have guests and experts together at one roundtable sharing their horsemanship experiences and knowledge as the most successful breeders, owners, trainers and non-pros.
The roundtable features: American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame breeder and rider Carol Rose; Dr. John Newcomb, DVM.; AQHA Chief Racing Officer Janet VanBebber; National Reining Horse Association $7 million rider Andrea Fappani; National Reining Horse Association $6.8 million rider Shawn Flarida; two-time Road to the Horse Champion and National Reined Cow Horse Association Champion Nick Dowers; and Along For The Ride Creative Producer Jim “Too Tall” Essick.
The roundtable theme of Form to Function: Breeding and Raising American Quarter Horses will cover these topics:
- Breeding
- Conformation
- Performance
- Being in-tune with your horses
- Managing your 3-year-old and older athletes
- Thoughts on long-term therapeutics
