When Debbie Cooper won Ranch Riding at the AQHA World Show two years ago, she wore a vest that had been given to her by Grace Hoyt, who showed in the same outfit over 40 years prior. Our Equine Chronicle readers will surely remember an adorable competitor from the 2017 All American Quarter Horse Congress whose Batman themed outfit stole the hearts of the crowd. Then 5-year-old, Wyatt Herrnstein, competed with his 16-year-old mare, Annie Lost Her Socks, aka “Sadie,” in Aged Mares. We had the opportunity to chat with him as well as his parents and sister, Skylar.
