Youth World Cut Short Due to CA. Truck and Trailer Accident; Thankfully, No Injuries Sustained

We’re so relieved to report that a truck and trailer roll-over accident on I-40 just outside of Needles, CA. resulted in no serious injuries or fatalities. AQHA horse trainer, Nancy Renfro, was on her way from California to Oklahoma for the AQHA Youth World Show with her daughters, three dogs, and six horses in tow when a tire blowout caused her truck and trailer to flip over. Thankfully, everyone is ok, with animals only sustaining minor injuries, according to AQHA youth Cori Cansdale.

AQHA Approves Rule Allowing International Members to Wear Traditional Attire in Versatility Ranch Horse

SHW320.7: For shows conducted in international countries, the exhibitor has the option of wearing traditional attire of the country. Traditional attire shall not encompass informal attire such as baseball caps and T-shirts, but rather the industry standard for historical dress for the local or regional agricultural industry. This rule shall not supersede the requirement for ASTM/SEI headgear in over fences classes as outlined in SHW320.2.
