Come see the thrilling demonstration of a horse galloping at full speed on the 21-foot equine treadmill. Always a crowd favorite, the demo is sure to get one’s adrenaline-pumping and heart-racing!

After the treadmill demonstration, guests will learn all about equine anatomy with RU Wish Bone, the life-sized horse skeleton. This year a new interactive activity will be added to test what attendees learn with “Horse Legs – RU A Skeletal Expert?”.

A short lesson on the benefits of rotational grazing, and how to successfully plan a pasture, will be followed by the new “Pasture Planning” interactive tile game.

Finally, a tour of the Equine Exercise Physiology Laboratory will include an update on the recent research taking place in the lab. Attendees will be treated to a demo using some of the lab equipment to run an experiment in the “Don’t Sweat The Small Stuff” demo.

There is no charge for the Summer Showcase; however, guests must register in advance.

All attendees will also leave with their very own copy of the new “Equine Science 4 Kids!” Activity Book!
