The American Royal is host to six different equine events: The Royal Showcase, a Cutting show, a Hunter/Jumper show, a UPHA National Championship, an Arabian show, and an AQHA show. The Quarter Horse show is always a favorite among competitors in the Midwest due to the opportunity to snag AQHA, NSBA, and MoQHA points, great awards, and the fun Progressive Dinner party.
The event took place September 8-12 in Kansas City, MO. Judges for the show were Brendan Brown, Jill Gomes Newcomb, Murray Griggs, Jimmy Daurio, John Kunkle, and Jennifer Leckey.
