Oregon Summer Classic is a Wrap!

The Oregon Summer Classic took place June 16-21 at the beautiful Rolling Hills Equestrian Center in Corning, CA. In 2017, this event was the third largest show for AQHA entries with a whopping 9,500+ entries. Only time will tell if the event will surpass that turnout this year. Another draw for the circuit this year is that it was a qualifying show for the National Championship Tournament at the 2020 AZ Sun Circuit.

The Open Working Horse All-Around Champion was Shameless and Sassy, owned by Tammy Glenn-Lamb. The Open Performance Horse All-Around Champion was Blessedwiththebest, owned by Jeff & Garrett Crivelli and exhibited by Lauren Stanley. The Reserve Champion was Clearly Ima Good Bar, owned and shown by Hannah Iwersen.
The Amateur All-Around Champion was Kelsey Jung with Moonlite Cruiser. The Reserve Champion was Lauren Stanley with Extremely Good Stuff. The Select Champion was Caroline Campbell with Creepin In My Sleep. The Reserve Champion was Karma Swanson with Spicy Chip. The Level 1 Amateur All-Around was Brynn Campbell with Poison Rain. The Reserve Champion was Angela Marshall with Heza Macs All Star. The Level 1 Select All-Around Champion was Merilie Blickenstaff with Best Design Yet. Reserve was Tammy Glenn-Lamb with Shameless and Sassy.
The Rookie Amateur All-Around was Aubree Scobie with Eat Sleep N Repeat. Reserve was Chris Richards with Hotrods N Champagne. The Youth All Around Champion was Hannah Way with HP Lazy N Pleasure. The Reserve Champion was Gracie Ann Howell with One Dynamic Krymsun. The Level 1 Youth 13 & Under All-Around was Tailyr Gromelski with Creepin In My Sleep. The Reserve Champion was Ava Blyth with KM Three Bars Down.
The Level 1 Youth 14-18 All-Around was Alexa McGowan with Sudden Attraction. The Reserve Champion was Katrina Bilic with Invite Who. The Rookie Youth All-Around Champion was Ava Blyth with KM Three Bars Down. Reserve was Madison Valbert with Jets Principle Star. The Walk/Trot High Point Champion was Macy Finney with Special Invites Only. The Reserve Champion was Emma Adcock with Hot Chips A Blaze.
The Versatility Ranch Horse Open Champion was Black Cat Betty, owned by Marine Research Consult, Inc and exhibited by Dale Tingle. The Reserve Champion was Whiz Rattle N Hum, owned by Weston Santoro and exhibited by Jarod Wright. The Versatility Ranch Horse Amateur Champion was Shameless and Sassy and Tammy Glenn-Lamb. The Reserve Champion was Stylish Shooter and Dana Azevedo. The Versatility Ranch Horse Youth Champion was Whiz Rattle N Hum and Weston Santoro. The Reserve Champion was Am I A Badge and Carys Evans.
The winner of the Trail saddle award was One Dynamic Krymsun and Gracie Ann Howell. Reserve was Extremely Good Stuff and Lauren Stanley. The winner of the Ranch Riding saddle was Wimpys Little Jay, shown by Danielle Barker and Chrissa Westbrooks. Reserve was Whoz A Whiz and Kelly Hamblin.
The Non-Pro Reining Sweepstakes was won by Vaughn Robison and Hesa Magnum Dream. Reserve was Derek Brummett and Thischicsamistriss. The AQHA Level 1/NRHA Rookie Reining Sweepstakes was won by Tammy Glenn-Lamb with Shameless and Sassy. Reserve was Abigail Anderson with No Trouble For Chexs. The High Point Open Rope Horse was Peppy Jays Pants, owned by Lucinda Bowen and exhibited by Dale Tingle. Reserve was Especials Pearl Ann, owned by Sandy Ballard and exhibited by Dale Tingle.
The Ranch Riding Shoot Out Top Hand Award was presented to Dillon Starlight and Rachel Fingerle. Reserve was Samantha Pratt with A Magnum of Magic. The Youth Champion of Champions was Kaitlin Dierks with Im With You.
