Two Ravens Foundation Veterans Slide—June 25

Military veterans take center stage in the inaugural Two Ravens Foundation Veterans Slide competition on July 25. Ten veterans will work with professional reining trainers and showcase their skills aboard talented reining horses in this unique team competition. The slide contest is presented by the American Paint Horse Foundation.

Two Ravens Foundation provides transformative experiences to our nation’s heroes that help foster personal growth, enable reflection and empower. They use coaching, horsemanship and community support while leveraging the power of horses and the Western way of life to positively impact combat veterans and first responders.

Heroes on Horses—July 3

The National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation and the American Paint Horse Foundation are teaming up again to honor U.S. veterans benefiting from the healing power of horses. Our Heroes on Horses event on July 3 begins with a parade of flag-bearers and contestant introductions. Then, participating veterans compete in the Heroes on Horses Walk-Jog Western Pleasure class, a unique competition celebrating their valor and partnership with equine athletes.
