Kids Will Show Horses to Help Kids With Cancer

The Minnesota POA Club is pleased to host a Benefit Show at the Minnesota Equestrian Center on June 21-23, 2019. The profits from the show will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester, MN serving Mayo Clinic. Exhibitors from states across the upper Midwest will participate in a horse show that is open to the public to attend.

The youth of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa have been challenged to produce tie fleece blankets over the months preceding the show season and those numerous blankets will be presented to the RMHC representatives at a special ceremony at 1 pm on Saturday the 22nd.

All children staying in the Rochester House receive a handmade blanket during their stay to take home with them. The Ronald McDonald House is a place of love and hope, a home away from home offering support and lodging to families seeking medical care for children. The House has recently been expanded to accommodate as many as 70 families.
