Judges Announced For 2020 Nutrena AQHA Level 1 Championships

The American Quarter Horse Association has announced the judges for the 2020 Nutrena Central, West and East AQHA Level 1 Championships.

“Our goal is to bring together an excellent roster of judges for the Nutrena Level 1 Championships,” said Justin Billings, AQHA chief show officer. “It is important for exhibitors to know they are being judged by the rules and by a highly qualified group of judges at each show.”

The individuals selected as the 2020 Nutrena Level 1 Championships judges are:

Nutrena Central AQHA Level 1 Championships

  • Arthur J. O’Brien of Findlay, Ohio
  • Carly Parks of Sabina, Ohio
  • Gayle Lampinen of Chassell, Michigan
  • Jimmy Daurio of Pueblo, Colorado
  • Leanne Williams of Erie, Colorado
  • Lisa Ligon of Aubrey, Texas

Nutrena West AQHA Level 1 Championships

  • Brad Luebben of Orient, Ohio
  • Clay Macleod of Rancho Santa Fe, California
  • Danielle Burns of Van Meter, Iowa
  • David Terrell of Millington, Tennessee
  • Jennifer Leckey of Richmond, Indiana
  • Michele Pearson of Scottsdale, Arizona

Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships

  • Amy Watkins of Canfield, Ohio
  • Clint Ainsworth of Lithonia, Georgia
  • David Fairchild of Saint Charles, Iowa
  • Garth Gooding of Fennville, Michigan
  • Jamie Dowdy of Marshfield, Missouri
  • Jamie Simpson of Owen Sound, Ontario

The 2020 Nutrena Central AQHA Level 1 Championships is April 8-11 at the OKC Fairgrounds in Oklahoma City; the 2020 Nutrena West AQHA Level 1 Championships is April 15-19 to the South Point Equestrian & Events Center in Las Vegas; and the 2020 Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships is April 29 – May 3 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Exhibitors can compete at only one Level 1 Championships each year.

Level 1 cattle classes will be held in conjunction with the 2020 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships June 23-28 at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma.
