“The Internet Auction catalogs are open for shopping in the two Internet Auctions that make up the 50th ANNUAL MID WINTER Auction. There are 2 Internet auctions offering Quarter Horses, Paints and Appaloosas: The BROODMARE AFFAIRE and the December INTERNET Auction,” says Mike Jennings of Pro Horse Services. “Bidding for both auctions open on Saturday, January 12th. They will close on January 15th and 17th, respectively.”

Entries will be accepted until Wednesday, January 10th. Entry forms for the auction can be found on the Professional Horse Services, LLC website – https://prohorseservices.com/internet-auctions/.
Sellers can use the online entry form or download a form to complete and return by fax or email. On the company’s website, sellers will find helpful information on taking photos and making videos to make a presentation that will attract buyers. Mike and Stephanie will also help owners determine how to best present their horse.

The first Mid Winter Sale, held in January 1970 at the Virginia State Fairgrounds, was managed by Bill and Betty Jennings’ East Coast Sales. From 1979 through 2011 Professional Auction Services, Inc., owned by Mike and Tim Jennings, produced the annual January auction. During that period, the auction was moved to the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, VA.
