Debbie Crisco Honeycutt was born July 25th, 1959 and was sadly involved in a tragic automobile accident on December 19th, 2016. She was laid to rest December 23rd.

Debbie was the loving wife of Tony, who was her best friend. It was rare that you saw one without the other. They were a team. Debbie was the loving mother of Stephanie and Chastity as well as a grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin.

Debbie touched so many lives during her time spent here with us. She had an infectious smile that so many of her friends and family will remember.

42638Debbie loved the beach, her flower and vegetable gardens, and her dogs and Paint Horses. She’d been involved in the Carolina Paint Horse Club for 30 years and served as the youth director for the past 22. This was to be her last year serving in that position. Why did she stay so long after her daughter had aged out of the youth division? Debbie cared about making a difference in the lives of our youth, and that she did. She made a huge impact on these kids’ lives and was a great influence on them and anybody she met.

The preacher said it was evident by the hundreds of people who came to say their final goodbyes and pay respect to this great woman that it was his loss that he didn’t know Debbie personally.

Debbie was a great role model to all, whether it be family, friends, co-workers, or members of the clubs she belonged to. So many of us will miss hearing her sweet smile and hearing the words, “Hey girl,” in her sweet southern accent. Rest in peace girl, you will be greatly missed and were loved by all.42612
