We are saddened to report another passing of a young soul within the equestrian community. 25-year-old Erin O’Neill, an equestrian and member of the Indiana Quarter Horse Association, was involved in a severe motorcycle accident on Tuesday evening along with her boyfriend, Cody Higdon.

According to a GoFundMe page the O’Neill family has set up to assist with final expenses, Erin was life-flighted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis following the accident. She sustained traumatic brain injury, multiple skull fractures, and multiple broken bones. Sadly, she eventually succumbed to her injuries.

The O’Neill family has set up a GoFundMe page for those interested in donating funds that will go towards her funeral and final expenses. Click here to view the family’s GoFundMe page.

The Indiana Quarter Horse Association will also be collecting donations at the upcoming Shamrock Shuffle this weekend, March 10-13 in Cloverdale, IN.

Our sincerest condolences and prayers go out to the O’Neill family during this difficult time.
