Feeling Groovey after Three Year Old Win at The Madness

Filed under: Around The Ring Galleries,Featured,Show Results & Gallery |

Casey Willis was feeling pretty groovy on Thursday after he and the three year old mare Feeling Groovey won the Madness $2,000 Added Three Year Old Open Western Pleasure Futurity. They added $1,166 to her earnings for owners MNM Stonebridge LLC.

“Pippi is by Hay Goodlookn and out of the RL Best Of Sudden mare Forever N Ever,” Casey said. “She’s just so big and powerful. She is really strong, but really soft too. She’s pretty laid back, especially for a filly.

“We’ll be showing at all the major shows this year, and she might be competing in the Non-Pro classes a little later this year,” Casey said.
This duo has developed quite a show record in just a short period of time, winning the Three Year Old Open Western Pleasure at the 2025 Arizona Sun Circuit, champion at the Orange Blossom and reserve champion at A Sudden Impulse in the Three Year Old Open Western Pleasure, and a bronze championship at the 2024 AQHA World Championship Show in the Level 3 Two Year Old Western Pleasure. They began their show career last fall by placing in the top ten at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in the Maiden Two Year Old Open Western Pleasure Futurity.

The Madness continues through Sunday, May 11 at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington, Ohio. To view complete show results, visit the Horse Show Tracker app or horseshowtracker.com.
