Everything You Need to Know About Stars & Stripes and Big A

A few reminders for the upcoming Stars & Stripes and Big A that will take place June 28th- July 7 in Conyers, GA.

1 – Back Numbers – back numbers will be assigned in the show office. Only those numbers sold through the GQHA/HQHA number sale program will be honored.

2 – No entries will be taken without either a check OR a credit card. Owners – if you are sending a horse with a trainer, you can either provide them with a check payable to GQHA or fill out the credit card form for them. Super easy!

3 – NSBA – remember this is a flat rate option show for the NSBA too. Remember the Show For Dough program. In addition to the FOUR sets of D/A points, you can earn paybacks in the Showmanship, Horsemanship and Equitation classes and NEW this year – in the non-pro Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle classes.

4 – NSBA Certificate of eligibility – to enter the ‘traditional’ futurity classes, you must provide proof of eligibility. These classes are ALL BREED.

5 – 3-year-old classes- Open and Ltd Open Western Pleasure and Open HUS – Did you show at the Georgia On My Mind shows? In addition to the $5,000 purses offered during the Big A in these classes, if you are the highest point earning in these three classes from all three circuits, you will be awarded a $5,000 bonus.

6- SCRATCHES – We do not charge for scratches in your AQHA & NSBA D/A classes. So enter everything and scratch as needed. The money classes have a slightly different scratch policy.

7 – DRAWS – We will draw the next morning’s classes, at least the first class, the night before. So please enter everything. We want you on the draws.

8 – PERMITS – The requirements at top-10 shows has been waived at both the Stars N Stripes & Big A circuits.

9 – Please be prepared with ALL paperwork. Even if you showed yesterday with us.
