ATTENTION WORLD SHOW ATTENDEES!

All the info you need in one place!

If you’re entered in the World Show, or still thinking about entering, this document contains everything you need to know to participate in the show.

Due to COVID-19, processes are changing! Please read below for complete details and come to the show prepared!

HEALTH/COGGINS/CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION

If you’re already entered in the show, please email a copy of your horse’s Certificate of Registration along with their 30-day health papers (dated on or after September 27, 2020) and proof of negative Coggins (dated on or after 10/27/2019) to showoffice@appaloosa.com. Do this in advance of arrival to expedite picking up your packet in the show office. Make sure your vet uses registered names (not barn names) on these documents! Please list “Health/Coggins” in the subject line of the email.

HEALTH/COGGINS/CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATIONS

The stall office will be open daily from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. The stall office can be reached during these hours by phone or text at 505.504.5144 or by email at alpharussell@comcast.net.

The stall office will be closed overnight. Please plan your arrival accordingly and call before closing time if you anticipate any issues.

If you purchased stalls in advance, you will receive your stall location by email from ApHC Stall Office Manager Alpha Russell. Upon arrival, proceed directly to your stalls to unload.

STALL PURCHASE

If you need to purchase stalls, CLICK HERE to make your purchase. Upon purchase, you’ll receive an email receipt and can contact the stall office at 505.504.5144 or by email at alpharussell@comcast.net to receive a stalling location. Many barns are full with pre-assigned stall locations. Do not put your horse in a stall without receiving a stalling assignment from the stall office. Overnight stall checks take place nightly and you will be charged extra for using stalls not assigned to you.

SHAVINGS

If you submitted a pre-bed order, it will have been delivered to your stalls in advance of your arrival. If you haven’t purchased shavings, please go to the WRMC shavings office in the Moncrief Building to purchase shavings for delivery to your stalls.

The WRMC Shavings Office will NOT be open overnight. Please plan ahead to ensure shavings purchases and deliveries during office hours.

MOVE-IN – Tuesday, October 27 at NOON

Horses/exhibitors/vendors/RVs are allowed to start moving in Tuesday, October 27 at NOON. Do not arrive early! Gates and barns will be locked and no trailers will be allowed on site until NOON. This is to allow WRMC personnel time to clean and sanitize the facility and stalls between shows. NO EXCEPTIONS.

SECURITY

Private security officers and Fort Worth Police Department officers will be on site during the show patrolling the buildings and grounds. However, if you are concerned about stall safety or if you’d like overnight security for your horses, ApHC recommends hiring someone for that purpose. Kelly Engle-Thompson has been providing this service to National and World Show exhibitors since 2007 and has over 25 years of horse experience and 20 years in law enforcement. If you are interested, please contact Kelly directly at 937.725.4862. Her published rate is $5/horse/night.

REGIONAL CLUB MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT

At least one owner and all exhibitors of horses entered in open and non-pro classes must be a member of an ApHC regional club. If you are not a current member, please contact your local club to purchase membership and receive proof of purchase.

You can email a copy of that receipt to showoffice@appaloosa.com in advance of your arrival on grounds. ApHC must have proof of regional club membership in order to release your packet containing your back numbers. Please list “Regional Club Membership” in the subject line.

If you are unable to purchase membership with a local club, as a service to exhibitors the Dal-Worth Appaloosa Horse Club sells online memberships and you’ll receive an emailed receipt upon purchase. Please CLICK HERE to purchase a regional club membership with Dal-Worth ApHC.

RV PARKING

The RV office is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Please plan your arrival time accordingly.

RV parking is assigned by ApHC on a first-come/first-serve basis. If you have reserved and paid for an RV space, you will have already received an email notification with your space number.

Upon arrival, please park in your assigned space. Red Lot #5 (north of John Justin Arena) is 100% FULL. Do not park in a space that is not yours. You will be asked to move to your correct space. Once parked, please come to the Show/RV office to receive your window placard and parking permit. At that time, the RV attendant will notify WRMC to turn on your power.

If you haven’t purchased RV space yet, don’t worry. There is still available space in other lots. Please CLICK HERE to purchase your RV space. You’ll receive an email receipt and can then call the RV office at 208.596.8247 for space assignment.
