As she awaits a few in-depth test results (preliminary results look promising) to show if the bone marrow transplant was successful, we were more than thrilled to receive this new horse show photo from her sister, Joan Ames, this week.
“She made it to the Ranch Horse Association of Michigan show at Berrien,” says Joan. “She was able to watch my showmanship. She has been my coach for 51 years. Yesterday she was my lucky charm as my mare got her first blue ribbon at a new discipline for me. My lucky charm!”
As Julie continues to climb the hill to recovery, we want to give a shout out from The Equine Chronicle! We are so happy to see your beautiful, smiling face. You got this!
