Condolences Following Passing of Last Detail (1991-2018)

Our sincerest condolences go out to everyone associated with AQHA stallion, Last Detail, who was laid to rest today, March 5, 2018, at the age of 27.

In 2015, this great stallion was placed in semi-retirement at Hanes Performance Horses in Shelbyville, TN. Prior to that, Last Detail had made his mark on the AQHA Hunt Seat arena in spectacular fashion, earning a World Championship in Junior Hunter Under Saddle and a Congress Championship in Junior Hunter Under Saddle, in his own right, as well as being named a NSBA Hall of Fame Stallion.

During the course of his breeding career, he sired earners of 32,000 AQHA points, 29 World Championships, 27 Reserve World Championships, 15 AQHA Champions, two AQHA World Show All Around Amateur Champions, and earners of $481,437 in NSBA Futurity monies. He was also the All-Time AQHA Leading Hunter Under Saddle Sire in Open, Amateur, and Youth divisions; the All-Time AQHA Leading Sire of Hunter Under Saddle Incentive Fund earners; the All-Time AQHA Leading Sire of Hunter Under Saddle Broodmares; the All-Time AQHA Leading Sire of Youth Working Hunter Horses; and the All-Time AQHA Leading Sire of Youth Hunter Hack Horses.
