Results From TSQHA Futurity- Sept. 17-18

The Tri-State Quarter Horse Association Futurity and AQHA show took place in a new location this year, New Castle, PA, Sept. 17-18. Mark Harrell Horse Shows recorded a total number of entries at 2,100. Judges for the show were Brent Maxwell, Judd Paul, Dawn Clason, and Lori Gingrich. Click here to view results for the show.

One of the highlighted events was the Northwest Emerald Masters Futurity with $14,000 in prize money. $8,000 came from entries; there was $3,500 in added money sponsored by Dave Girling in memory of Corrina Girling; and $2,500 was added to the limited rider portion sponsored by Continental Dirt.

Judging the event were Brent Tincher, Jeff Greaves, Valerie Kearns, Glenn Wells, John Boxell, and Brendan Brown. In what has become a trend across the country, the largest class sizes were found in the leveled classes.
