Last night, Caroline Ammons piloted Ginnin to a win in the Non-Pro Trail Derby winning $450. The team received a combined score of 244, with an 81, 81.5, and 81.5 under judges Murray Griggs, Judd Paul, and Karen Graham, respectively.

We all felt such pride in representing our country as we stood in the center of the arena and our National Anthem was played to honor the USA as the host country of the 2014 AQHA Youth World Cup.

One of the main events that has taken place thus far is the National Quarter Horse League Big A Open Trail Derby on Sunday, which was sponsored by Sea Ridge Farms. After two rounds of competition, the big winner was Bruce Vickery aboard In Prinzziples Image for Kelly, Tim, and Chaney Getchell. The team earned $750 for their efforts and scored an impressive total of 496.5 points, an 80.5 and 83 respectively.
