The 2014 rule change means nearly all shows and organizations are eligible to count toward PAC credits. Without event approval, there’s no more hunting for shows that are PAC-approved—every show hosted by your favorite organization is an opportunity to double-dip your rewards.

7 New Classes Added to APHA World Show Schedule, Qualifying Waived

Because the decision to offer these seven classes was made so late in the World Show qualifying period, the Executive Committee agreed to waive qualifying requirements for horses entering these events. However, if exhibitors also wish to enter additional classes—beyond the seven noted above—they will be subject to the existing qualifying requirements, which includes showing at a minimum of four APHA-approved events and to at least eight judges between August 1, 2013, and July 31, 2014.

2014 AjPHA Youth World Reports Entry Increase of 10%- 1,560 Entries

Preliminary numbers indicate an increase in entries over the 2013 Youth World Show. When the dust settled and the final champion was named, the show had 330 horses entered, a 15 percent increase over 2013. Entries also grew, with with a total of 1,560 paid entries, a 10 percent increase over 2013. Forty-five states and international countries were represented.
