Scarlet Print was a 1990 chestnut overo mare by Silent Print and out of Oakes Shady Lady who earned 1,334 lifetime APHA points in halter classes. Owned by Michelle Engle of Bakersfield, California, Scarlet Print had an impressive accolade of awards, including four Registers of Merit, three Superiors Events and 10 world championship titles—all in halter classes. She was a dam to nine horses that have collected a total of 746 points in halter classes.

Continue reading …Included were scholarships for top finishers in 87 world championship performance and halter classes, along with scholarships for randomly selected entries and other special events. All this in addition to the customary prizes awarded at the show, such as trophy buckles, jackets, halters and saddles. Scholarship money totaling more than $110,000 was provided by the American Paint Horse Foundation, as well as private donations from APHA members and industry supporters.
