The 2016 NSBA World Championship Show, Breeders Championship Futurity, and AQHA Show Your Colors Horse Show will take place August 13-21 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Judges for the show will be John Boxell, Steve Brown, Brad Kearns, Brad Luebben, Kelly McDowall, Scott Neuman, Gary Roberts, Andrea Simons, Sara Simons, John Tuckey, Greg Wheat, and a remaining TBD. Chele McGauly and Jennifer Thompson will be AQHA Show Your Colors judges.

$165,000 in scholarships awarded. Every world championship class—along with select other classes and awards—feature a shot to earn scholarship cash. First through third-place winners in each class —and even more placings in select classes—take home scholarships. PLUS we draw a scholarship winner at random in each event, too! AQHA has 10 Latin American international affiliates: Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The 2016 Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association Madness is just around the corner and Mark Harrell Horse Shows has competitors covered with patterns for the event. The show will take place on the new dates of April 6-10 in Wilmington, Ohio.

Hosted by the 2015-16 AQHYA officers and directors, YES will hold a wide variety of activities and feature speakers focused on the youth of our industry. If you’ve never attended YES, it’s an amazing opportunity to meet new people and have fun learning about leadership.

Up to four trophies are awarded to each zone show based on the show’s high-point rules, one in each of the following divisions: Open, Amateur, Youth and Solid Paint-Bred. In order to be eligible for the Open or Solid Paint-Bred divisions, the owner must be a current member of APHA and reside in the zone.

He discusses a new chapter for AQHA with the restructuring of the Association’s management; one of AQHA’s utmost priorities, animal welfare and continuing to put our horse first; remaining fiscally responsible as an organization; an update on the cloning lawsuit; and moving forward as an association.

This year’s show will include Junior and Senior Green Trail, Select Over Fences classes, Performance Halter Stallions, $2,500 Limited Horse/$2,500 Limited Rider Open Western Pleasure, Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure, BCF Three-Year-Old Open Trail, and BCF Three-Year-Old Non Pro Trail.
