
The Banixx Pinto of the Month for May is Chex Please, owned by Grace Leung and Lane Dorenbusch of Colorado Springs, CO. Chex Please, better known as Chex, is a stock-type gelding. Leung recently purchased Chex. She said he is sweet and eager to please, which makes showing him a lot easier. They don’t get much practice at the moment because he is boarded in Redlands, California.

The International Buckskin Horse Association is proud to present the IBHA World Championship Show, July 26-29, 2017 at the C Bar C Arena in Cloverdale, Indiana. The event will be triple-judged with triple points and a one day 4-judge warmup show on July 25th, plus an IBHA approved triple-judged show on July 24th.

The AQHA Level 1 Championships are slated for spring 2018 with the AQHA Central Championships held in Oklahoma City, kicking off the trio of championships. That show is followed by the AQHA West Level 1 Championships in Las Vegas, and the Nutrena East Level 1 Championships in Raleigh, North Carolina. Exhibitors can compete at only one of the three Level 1 Championships each year.

Exhibitors can qualify to compete in Level 3 13-&-Under western pleasure, hunter under saddle, horsemanship, hunt seat equitation, showmanship, ranch riding and trail at the 2018 Ford Youth World. The world champion, reserve world champion, top-10 placings and five finalists will be awarded in each Level 3 13-&-Under class. Winners in the 13-&-Under classes will be awarded as a one-go-round format.
